FAQ

What kind of resistance bands should I get?

There is only one brand of band that we have used in the studio since 2006. It’s the Slastix® band technology by Stroops Inc.

Slastix® is the engineering and technology that represents a monumental leap forward in elastic tubing, one of the fundamental components of many performance training products for both athletes and everyday exercisers like you.

What makes this brand so special?

Unlike typical elastic tubing, which can snap back and cause serious injury, Slastix® tubing has a protective fabric sleeve that eliminates not only the risk of injury, it makes the band virtually indestructible by protecting against UV damage, wear-and-tear, and overstretching.

Made in America of the highest quality materials, Stroops performance products have exponentially expanded the ways elastic tubing is used to maximize your workout experience.

Slastix®, a technology created, developed, manufactured, and patented by Stroops is used in major sports organization in the US and around the world.

In fact, in the years since it was developed, Slastix® bands are now used in physical therapy, on playgrounds, in training gyms, yoga and Pilates studios, and people’s home gyms.

How do I purchase the bands?

We’ve made it easy as we have a direct link with the manufacturer. Visit out shop bands page => Here

I always recommend folks to purchase a pair of the same tension bands.  So you’ll want to add 2 to the cart when you are ready to order.

Which resistance should I order?

We’ve made it so simple with just 2 choices of resistance:

  1. Red = medium tension. Equal to 20 lbs. of force.
  2. Blue = heavy tension. Equal to 26 lbs. of force.

How do I get started with bands?

You’ll notice at the top right corner of this page, there’s our Video Band Toolkit. This is your quick start answer.

Once you put your name and best e-mail below is  a sample of what you can expect to receive right away in your e-mail box = 3 quick links for your band mini-course.

It’t the easiest way to get yourself started!
